The perfect Ski Day at the Zillertal Arena

There are many ways to spend a perfect ski day in the Zillertal Arena.

Even after countless fantastic skiing days in the Zillertal Arena, we still say: We simply can't get enough! This ski area has so much to offer that every day inspires anew and leaves us wanting more.

8 AM: Breakfast in the holiday apartment

The self-catering apartments offer the freedom to prepare meals according to your own preferences and without set meal times. The kitchens in the apartments are fully equipped, so there are no limits to meal preparation. During peak season, you can also have fresh baked goods delivered directly to your apartment via a bread delivery service. After all, a good breakfast is the best foundation for an energetic day of skiing!

9 AM: The perfect start to the ski day

The ski slope begins right behind the holiday houses "Lisa," "Erwin," and "Christine." The gondola "Dorfbahn Königsleiten" is just five minutes away, after crossing the beginners' lift directly behind the holiday houses. From there, the gondola takes you to the mountain station at 2200 meters in just 8 minutes. This is the ideal starting point for exploring the vast ski area, always surrounded by a magnificent mountain panorama.

With the towns of Königsleiten, Silberleiten / Hochkrimml, Gerlos and Zell am Ziller, the Zillertal Arena stretches from the Salzburg Pinzgau region to the Tyrolean Zillertal.

12 PM: Lunch on the mountain

After a fun morning on the slopes, it's time for a well-earned lunch break. The Zillertal Arena offers many great places to eat, from cosy traditional huts to modern mountain restaurants.

At the Larmachalm, you can enjoy a warm, rustic atmosphere, tasty Austrian food, and a large sunny terrace. The Panoramaalm offers delicious meals along with stunning mountain views. The Plattenalm is another great spot for an alpine food experience with classic Austrian dishes and a big sun terrace.

If you prefer a more modern setting, the Umbrellabar is a stylish place with a tasty menu. When the weather is nice, the terrace at Seppi’s is a top recommendation: A DJ plays house music, creating a fun and lively vibe. In the Zell am Ziller ski area, the Kreuzwiesnalm is a nice mountain hut to stop for a relaxing meal at the ski slopes.

1 PM: More fun on the slopes

Refreshed, it's time to head back to the slopes. A perfect day of skiing in the Zillertal Arena still has a lot to offer! A summit photo is a must, of course, before moving on to the ski area's numerous highlights. Action fans will get their money's worth in the fun parks in Hochkrimml, Gerlos, and Zell am Ziller, while the Arena Champions Challenges are exciting for anyone who likes to compete. At various points throughout the ski area, speed and skiing style can be tested on timed courses, either as a race or with a speed check.  The special thing about these is, that all experiences are captured on photo or video and can be viewed and downloaded after a short registration at: https://app.skiline.cc/en/pages/myskiline?resortLinkName=zillertalarena.
